SQUIRRELS PLAYCAMPS

Children 2.5 to 5 years old

Squirrels Playcamp, half-day morning routine are similar to our Adventures in the Forest program.

We will sing songs, spark the creativity and imagination, listen to stories, and adventure across the farm or forest landscape in search of whatever catches our eyes.

Children and Mentors will have plenty of time to run under the rain, eat rain drops, to play at the mud kitchen, visit and-or feed the animals, to climb trees, swing across fallen logs, look for turtles, fishes and shrimps at the pond and to get immersed in open exploration that is the true work of childhood.

Everything lined up with our Positive Discipline and Leadership Principles approach to help them to develop their Social and Emotional skills in a micro-community setting.

BOBCATS PLAYCAMPS

Children 6 to 10 years old

Bobcats Playcamp, is filled of opportunities for young tweens to feel the independence their brains and bodies are asking, to build a sense of belonging thru a place-based and community-based program,  while the opportunities to guide young peers, with the help of Mentors, leads them to develop their leadership skills.

Being at the same space than Squirrels, older kids will have the opportunity to be on charge of cleaning the animals stables, to guide younger kids on their first experiences with animals and to become someone whom younger children can follow and learn from.

Bobcats as the same than Squirrels, will have plenty of time to run under the rain, eat rain drops, to play with mud, visit and-or feed the animals, cooking, to climb trees, swing across fallen logs, look for turtles, fishes and shrimps at the pond and to get immersed in open exploration that is the true work of childhood.

Everything lined up with our Positive Discipline approach to help them to develop their Social and Emotional skills in a micro-community setting.
