HOW  WE  PREPARE  OURSELVES  TO ADVOCATE  FOR  CHILDHOOD  AND  NATURE  CONNECTION...

As Mothers and in our roles as Facilitators and Mentors of Miami Nature Playscamp, a vital
part of our mission is training and gaining knowledge about the various benefits for children

and young people of growing in direct contact with nature.

In addition to being pioneers in South Florida creating an outdoor learning space, we are also active members of various organizations that are leading the #NatureForAll movement nationwide.

In our state, we are part of a initiative to advocate for the restoration of childhood, same as the promotion and regulation of outdoor learning spaces from our Florida state-chapter, co-chair, founder role under the umbrella of ERAFANS.

Over the last few generations, childhood has moved indoors, leaving kids disconnected from the natural world. This worldwide trend has profound implications for children’s healthy development—and the future of our planet.
