Mentor
Mentoring consists of a long-term relationship focused on supporting the growth and development of the mentee.

At the Forest Kindergarten, Mentors becomes a source of indirect wisdom, co-learning, with the responsibility to become a role model and support to discover life's wonders.
Mentors are observes that avoid to advise, give ideas, judgements or resolve conflicts between the children and during specific actions on their daily play.

•Assess work space for hazards
•Prepare material to take to the workspace
•Welcome children at drop off and pick up
•Assist children to eat and personal hygiene when needed
•Follow the stipulated procedures for the supervision and care of children
•Use of conscious discipline methods to interfere and redirect children behavior if necessary
•Ensure compliance with the rules
•Relates with children respecting the principles of the educational approach of the program and organization
•Coordinate and/or execute the activities and actions of the day/week with their teammates and leader.
•Participate in trainings and activities organize by the organization to reinforce or acquire new knowledge, required for the job position
•Observe and follow up the development process of each child in your care
•Offer space for feedback and reflection so the children can build their own knowledge, and learning path
•Objectivity to evaluate teammates and leader.
•Always communicate issue between children, families and teammates to the leader of the team.
•Responsible for communicating to leader any incident with families or teammates that will reflect negatively on the organization.

•Organize opening and closing “ceremonies” /“ritual”.
•Introduction messages in WhatsApp group (New Parents).
•Organize a bi-monthly meeting with the team to check details and news.
•Organize and divide duties and responsibilities among the team.
•Follow up on every Mentor duties and responsibilities compliances.
•Responsible for communicating to organization and register on incident form (*1)any incident with families or teammates that will reflect negatively on the organization.
•Responsible for all communication between families and organization.
•Coordinate special activities for program with the Program Coordinator on the team.
•Responsible to keep a positive working environment for the team and to answer and/or deliver all the possible team concerns than could arise.
•Do the best to be an impartial and objective to become a good mediator between the team and the direction.
Program Coordinator

•All the duties mentioned above plus...
•Schedule and direct the Meet & Greet at the beginning of the PLAYschool year.
•Responsible to confirm all the communications has been sent to the respective communities at the beginning of the year.
•Responsible for making sure the required materials have been purchased and delivered to each Team leader.
•Attend a monthly meeting with other coordinators and Program Director.
•Raise relevant information on site with each Team Leader to pass it to the Direction each month.
•Invite the Team Leaders to the monthly meetings with the Direction on case of a specific concern.
•Follow up on every Tean Leader duties and responsibilities compliances.
•Responsible for communicating the direction about the incident forms that requires an inmediately accion.
•Report to administration with feedback about team and program .
•Responsible to keep a positive working environment for the team and to resolve possible situation with the empowerment given and to deliver all the possible team concerns than could arise than its outside its level of decision.
•Do its best to be an impartial and objective to become a good mediator between the team and the direction.
